Lake Como is one of the famous Italian Lake destinations and the third largest in Italy.
Shaped like an upside-down Y, its shoreline is dotted with ancient villages with magical corners, monuments and lots of interesting shops. You’ll get the romantic atmosphere of the place by walking along. The Lake is also the birthplace of illustrious Italians, such as physicist Alessandro Volta, inventor of the first electric generator, the Voltaic Pile.
