In the heart of the chaotic city of Milan what's better than a treasure of art and architecture like Villa Necchi Campiglio. This villa was designed by Piero Portalupi between 1932 and 1935. The Portalupi family is a private family that donated their property to the FAI in 2001. After some restoration works it was open to the public in 2008 as a House Museum. Napoleone’ stage at Arena Civica Parco SempioneIn front of Arena Civica, Palazzina Appiana was designed as an official gallery or a stage for French emperor’s family. Today it is one of the few architectural testimonies of the ambitious urban plans for Milan conceived by Napoleon in his brief government season, between 1796 and 1814. The Hall of honour is the heart of the villa and is decorated. A piece of history that could bring you back to the glorious and magnificent Napoleonic epoch. This place is a FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) property and it is a location for different cultural events in Milan. Where it is: Viale Byron, Arena Civica, Parco Sempione - 20145 Milano
